How to follow soloists without losing your individuality and feel the music together. The different approaches to accompanying different instruments (such as violin, cello, winds, and vocalists). Concertos – how to create the impression of a full orchestra and a conductor. How to coach instrumentalists in seeing their role as part of a complex score, and treating the pianist as partners.

The most qualified participants will be considered as candidates for a 1st week accompanist position for SMF’s 2013 season.
